Flare's spinning strike clanged hard against the broad upper part of Purple's axe blade, as the fallen champion raised it up to parry. The force of the blow stopped Purple in his tracks and would have even knocked him over if he wasn't as strong as he was. Meanwhile Hadi and the green one approached each other more cautiously, each fighter presenting his shield forward and raising his weapon up behind his body. The fallen champion raised his shield high to block Hadi's strike, and then quickly lunged forward, driving the edge of his shield into Hadi's gut. The hit was not very strong, but it caught Hadi by surprise and forced him to backpedal out of reach to regain his balance, resetting their positioning.
